DINNER DANCES
Independence Day Celebrations, Sri Lankan New Year Festivities, Christmas Party, Live dance, music, film and fine arts.
EVENTS
SLAN Cup softball cricket tournament, Kandyan & Folk & Bharat dances, Live Big Band, Baila shows, Visiting musical stars from Sri Lanka, Ice skating, Mini-golf, Winter Sports.
WORK
SLAN Women’s Committee, Clean drinking water provision in CKD and climate-affected areas, Educational scholarships in Sri Lanka, Emergency and Sustainable relief programs.
TRACK RECORD
Since 1984, SLAN has excelled in hosting events that mesh Sri Lankan and Norwegian culture in traditional and innovative spaces. Children and youth are at the center of our organisation, and are given early responsibility and opportunities in organising and participating in cultural shows.
The core principles of SLAN:
I) Assist Sri Lankans arriving Norway to integrate successfully into Norwegian society through a Sri Lankan sense of community
II) Promote the fusion and integration of Norwegian and Sri Lankan culture in accessible and public platforms.
III) Contribute towards relieving humanitarian struggles in Sri Lanka through established charity organisations and targeted donations.

SLAN har utført konserter og kulturprogram for barn og unge med støtte fra Frifond siden 2018.
SLAN stiller med erfarne og trygge event-arrangører. Vi velkommer flere SLAN storfeiringer hos oss.
Vi er strålende fornøyd med SLAN som leietaker, med flere events over flere år. De er gjerne velkomne tilbake!
